Gary Grover M.D.
Gary Grover M.D. is a vascular surgeon in a private practice group setting. He is board certified and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and International College of Surgeons. He has been the Chief of Vascular Surgery at Southern Maryland since 1997. He is the Director of Peripheral Vascular Interventions at Southern Maryland Vascular Center and the Co-Director of the Center for Vascular Care at several other regional hospitals. In addition he is the Director of a Vein Care Laser Center and Wound Care Center. Dr. Grover is also a regional proctor for endovascular procedures and is involved in proctorships, perceptorships and physician training programs along with medical advisory board participation with various major vascular industries
He has extensive experience in interventional and endovascular procedures including; peripheral, visceral, renal and carotid stenting. Endovascular athrectomy experience includes the use of the athrectomy devices, and arterial laser for recanalization of long femoral occlusions, stent-grafts for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid artery intervention venous laser treatment and therapy for the prevention of restenosis.
Dr. Grover has implanted over 300 Endovascular AAA Stent Grafts. He has performed approximately 5000 Endovascular procedures to date including 125 Carotid artery stenting procedures with cerebral protection.
