Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Biswas is a board certified cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with extensive experience that spans 10 years in the DC area. Having earned his bachelor’s and MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill he later went on to perform residency training at Harvard Medical School, finishing general surgery residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at both Virginia Commonwealth University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Biswas has won numerous top doctor awards including Castle Connolly Top Doctor for over 5 years, ranking him in the top 7% of Board Certified Surgeons in his specialty. Surgical Associates is pleased that Dr. Biswas joined its outstanding team of surgeons in 2020.

Founded in 1984, the SAC Team has helped over 44,000 patients find relief from vascular and surgical conditions.   I am over 50 year old male. Who use to live a very active lifestyle.  I am a lieutenant,  and football referee and owner of a Dj, Photo Video company. I referee all year long college,
high school and semi pro. I thought I was going to have to give it all up. The pain in my knees was so unbearable.  Dr. Chun and nurse Taraina made me fill so comfortable.  As they explain the procedure to me. The pros and cons (non). I have bone on bone , and was advised by my orthopedic surgeon that i required knee replacement in both knees. I have had a complete shoulder replacement and it did not go very well, and I just did not want to have surgery. I could barely walk and was in increasing pain all the time. I tried shots, chiropractic adjustments, and medications to no effect.  After completing the procedure I fill like a kid again. No pain!! I would recommend this procedure to all.

  Awesome staff. The procedure I had was great and helped my knee pain tremendously.  It went from excruciating pain to almost no pain at  all. Everyone is friendly and attentive.  Dr. Chun knows what he is doing.

  The office was very upgraded as you walk in the door freshly decorated and the front desk associate Kim was super nice knowledgeable of her job  and friendly Ms Haley the lab tech was awesome very knowledgeable of her job as well the whole staff was great just fantastic , the awesome young lady taking my blood pressure was very helpful as well and Doctor Chun was just incredible very knowledgeable and very in tune with his patient which was me just an amazing place to go if you need help with anything related to there skill sets in medicine and medical needs, I felt so right at home I didn’t want to leave the office they’re super special for sure Much Respect to that whole Staff , Thank you Jeremiah

  I’ve been suffering with knee pain for over 10 years and for the first time in 10 years, I am pain  free let me correct I can deal with the little pain that I have this experience was so so worth it. The people here are friendly, caring, considerate I just love this place and I would recommend it to anybody so if you have any knee problems, give them a call.
